Welwyn Biomagnetics is owned and operated by Loraine Selby, a certified Goiz therapist (the BMPT technique was discovered by Dr Isaac Goiz Duran). I began my training in early 2023 and completed it in 2024. I continue to keep up my study through CPD and conference attendance.
My journey to becoming a Biomagnetic Pairs Therapist
In 2017 I was bitten by a tick in Thetford Forest, Suffolk. I did not see the tick, but I had a circular rash. As the rash did not itch or cause me any bother I did not go and see my GP and I was not aware of Lyme disease and what a serious illness it could be. For the following two years I suffered a series of symptoms including Labyrinthitis, nausea, unexplained tooth pain, hip pain, constant UTI’s, debilitating fatigue, tinnitus, inter costal rib cage pain and weird reactions to Flu jabs and antibiotics.
Eventually in 2019 I was diagnosed with Lyme disease (by a private clinic). I commenced treatment with 9 months of triple antibiotics which got me 50% better.
I then tried herbal tinctures and acupuncture which got me a little better. At the time I was on a Facebook support group for Lyme disease and Bio Magnetic Pairs therapy was mentioned on there.
I was intrigued and after further research commenced treatment with a practitioner in Harpenden. After several sessions I was finally 100% better (apart from being left with a few food intolerances). Amongst other things, the practitioner found Babesia, a parasite also transmitted by ticks (ticks can transmit many pathogens not just Lyme).
Later on, I also found out I had Rickettsia and treated that with BMPT. I was so impressed with this therapy I decided to become a practitioner myself.

In conclusion, my own experience with biomagnetism has been life-affirming.
